Did you accidently crack your LCD screen? Apple does not warranty iPods with broken screens. If your iPod screen looks inky, cracked, or if you can only see part of it, then you're probably in need of a replacement screen. Replacing your iPods screen will require a moderate level of technical ability but it's definitely worth the effort!
